Katie wanted to make a set of jewellery that was understated yet impactful for an important business meeting. Using these faceted glass beads we were able to create a set of jewellery that fitted perfectly and really enhanced her lovely blue eyes. I’m not teaching her any more though, as she is far too good!

“My favorite Rose Quartz necklace was destroyed when it was ripped off my neck by my Shi Tzu when he panicked at a dog show. I scrambled to gather all the stones that I could find and they sat in my drawer for years. When I found Michelle, she promised me that she could remake it for me, so I took the sorry looking bag with rose quartz beads round to her. We sat together and chose the right beads to go with it. She advised me all the way, although letting me choose. We chose crystal rondels, and fresh water pearls in pink and ivory and once constructed it was beautiful, we even had enough stones left to make some matching earrings. It’s so feminine, and I always get comments whenever I wear it. It’s even better than it was originally and it’s my favorite. It was such an exciting adventure to be involved in the recreation.”

“I met Michelle through a friend and when I realised she made Jewellery I ask her to make me a piece for a special event. My friend had something very delicate, traditional and understated made to match her outfit, but I wanted something BIG, SASSY and Ethnic to match my outfit! I went to Michelle’s with the dress I was wearing on the occasion.
First we looked at some pieces she had already got to get the colours and idea’s flowing, then all these wonderful boxes came out with pearls and stones in and the idea’s came thick and fast. We chose some very rare pearls including twin Biwa stick pearls, gold stick pearls, and an array of different bronze and gold spacer beads. When we were basically there with the design and idea’s on the table I left the rest to Michelle and wow 1 day later they was done, necklace, earrings and bracelet, they are fantastic and I love them and I have had lots of lovely comments about them. They feel really special because I was part of the design process, and no one has anything like it. And I can’t believe I got it all for far less than I would have paid in a shop!”

Janice had a broken Ivory necklace that had been handed down the family.
Janice previously had the necklace re-strung my someone but it was far too short to wear. Janice didn’t have any other beads so she brought it to me to chose a way to reconstruct it.
I advised Janice that we should use some spacers and some beads to make it much longer, so Janice chose several beads that she liked, and then left it in my hands.
I tried several variations and finally decided upon Hematite round beads and silver painted glass rondells which gave it a very smart look. There were enough beads left over to make a matching bracelet so now the heirloom can be passed on again.
“Thank you so much! My necklace is amazing! I am so grateful! Love Jan X”

“I am very proud of my necklace it makes me feel fab. I feel very confident when I wear it and I believe the warmth of the colours give me a glow better than a fake tan!”
